OUR STORY

OUR STORY

Paradise International Fellowship (PIF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that fosters and advances the appreciation of gospel music. Founded in 1933 by the late Dr. Thomas A. Dorsey, "Father of Gospel Music," we help singing aggregations, churches, colleges and universities, musicians, composers, arrangers, music directors, artists, performers, and others recognize and demonstrate sound business and music performance with the highest standards in keeping with the essence and traditions of gospel music. Now led by our visionary President, Dr. Marabeth E. Gentry, a 2016 Stellar Award recipient and 2018 Inductee of the Stellar Award's Honors Hall of Fame, PIF broadens the horizon of delivering the "Good News" through culturally diverse environments and interdenominational fellowships with unique offerings in the areas of ministry and artistry excellence.

PIF fulfills its mission through teachings, community service, programs, performances, and other related activities. Annually, in July or August, we hold a week-long convention that offers certified classes, workshops, and sessions featuring world-renowned musical artists and guest speakers.
